Leaders from all walks of life, artists at home and abroad, cultural scholars, and media representatives gathered to witness this significant scene where culture and the times converge. Distinguished guests attending the opening ceremony included Lu Zhiyuan, former Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Hainan Provincial People's Congress; Dong Baoping, former Political Commissar of Hainan Provincial Department of Public Security; Xia Fei, former Chairman of Hainan Federation of Literary and Art Circles; Yu Jin, Vice President and Secretary-General of Hainan Provincial Cultural Exchange Promotion Association; Li Gengjun, Director of Hainan International Cultural Exchange Center; Tan Shaoling, former Second-Class Inspector of Hainan International Cultural Exchange Center; Ke Shuixi, former Second-Class Inspector of Hainan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology; and Han Guojun, Honorary Curator of Hainan Asia Art Museum.

It signifies a profound transformation of Hainan from an "inland customs territory" to an "offshore customs territory." A door of higher-level opening-up, broader vision, and greater vitality—an opportunity door, a global door, and a future door—is now fully opening in Hainan, the center of the world. This is not only a turning point for economic and trade rules and logistics systems but also a new starting point for cultural mutual learning, ideological exchange, and cultural prosperity.
海南省人大常委会原副主任陆志远在致辞中指出，封关运作是海南发展的里程碑，它不仅仅是货物与资金的自由流动，更是思想与文化的深度碰撞与融合。艺术作为人类共通的语言，在此刻扮演着不可或缺的角色，能够促进不同文明间的理解与尊重，为自贸港建设注入持久而深厚的精神动力。In his speech, Lu Zhiyuan, former Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Hainan Provincial People's Congress, pointed out that customs closure and operation is a milestone in Hainan's development. It not only enables the free flow of goods and capital but also facilitates in-depth collision and integration of ideas and cultures. As a universal language of humanity, art plays an indispensable role at this moment, promoting understanding and respect between different civilizations and injecting lasting and profound spiritual impetus into the construction of the Free Trade Port.
亚洲联合文化艺术中心主席、亚洲艺术馆馆长徐守振在开幕致辞中表示，封关运作是海南自贸港建设历程中的关键里程碑，标志着海南向更高水平开放型经济的深刻转型。他指出：“这不仅是一个经贸规则的转换点，更应成为文明互鉴、思想激荡与文化繁荣的新起点。艺术作为人类共通的语言，恰是跨越界限、连接心灵的桥梁。封关是物理监管模式的转换，但文化与艺术的对话应更加自由地‘通关’。徐守振表示，亚洲艺术馆希望成为“文化自由港”的微观实践，推动思想与创意在此自由流通，促进不同文明间的对话与共融。未来，艺术馆将持续推出“买得起的艺术”、亚洲国际艺术周、亚洲国际摄影周等系列活动，进一步活跃本土与国际艺术生态。徐守振馆长强调，海南亚洲艺术馆自创立之初，便致力于搭建海南与亚洲乃至全球的文化艺术交流平台。Xu Shouzhen, Chairman of the Asian Cultural and Art Foundation and Curator of Asia Art Museum, stated in his opening speech that customs closure and operation is a key milestone in the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, marking Hainan's profound transformation towards a higher-level open economy. He emphasized:"This is not only a turning point for economic and trade rules but also should become a new starting point for cultural mutual learning, ideological exchange, and cultural prosperity. As a universal language of humanity, art is precisely the bridge that transcends boundaries and connects hearts. Customs closure is a transformation of physical supervision models, but the dialogue between cultures and arts should 'pass through customs' more freely." Xu Shouzhen expressed that Asia Art Museum aims to become a microcosmic practice of a "cultural free port," promoting the free flow of ideas and creativity here and facilitating dialogue and integration between different civilizations. In the future, the museum will continue to launch a series of activities such as "Affordable Art," Asian International Art Week, and Asian International Photography Week to further enliven the local and international art ecology. Curator Xu Shouzhen emphasized that since its establishment, Hainan Asia Art Museum has been committed to building a platform for cultural and artistic exchanges between Hainan, Asia, and the world.
海南亚洲艺术馆新馆坐落于自贸港核心区域，依托独特的政策与区位优势，将积极探索艺术与产业、旅游、科技的融合发展，助力海南打造国际旅游消费中心和文化交流高地。Located in the core area of the Free Trade Port, the new venue of Hainan Asia Art Museum will leverage its unique policy and geographical advantages to actively explore the integrated development of art with industry, tourism, and technology, helping Hainan build an international tourism and consumption center and a highland for cultural exchanges.
