木棉花De花语

木棉花的花期一般是（10-15天），热烈灿烂却转瞬即逝，提醒我们要珍惜当下，珍惜身边人与美好时光。木棉花的火红花朵代表热烈真挚的情感，可表达爱慕与深情；木棉树树枝挺拔高大，花开无叶，花红似火，凋落时整朵坠地，不褪色不萎靡，象征勇敢，坚毅，独立自强，追求自由的精神。


The meaning of Kapok flowers

Kapok flowers typically bloom for only 10 to 15 days.They are brilliant and vibrant yet fleeting, reminding us to cherish the present moment, our loved ones, and the beautiful times we share.
The bright red blossoms represent passionate and sincere affection, conveying deep love and admiration.Kapok trees grow tall and straight, blooming without leaves, with flowers blazing like fire. When they fall, they drop whole, without fading or wilting — symbolizing courage, perseverance, independence, self‑strength, and the spirit of pursuing freedom.









从海口出发，走西线高速，往叉河、霸王岭方向，直奔昌化江畔赏花码头。Depart from Haikou, take the West Line Expressway towards Chahe and Bawangling, and head straight for the flower-viewing dock along the Changhua River.










别计划，去昌江

别计划，去昌江，向往的春天，从一朵木棉花出发。自驾到昌江，沿路都是盛开的木棉花，路上的风景就特别美，2月初我去东方小桂林的时候路过昌江没有停留，因为我是每周日单休一天，我的自驾游一般当天专程直奔一个目的地。


No plans, just go to Changjiang

No plans, just head to Changjiang.The spring you long for starts with a single kapok flower.
Drive to Changjiang, and you’ll see blooming kapok flowers all along the way—the scenery is truly beautiful.When I visited Little Guilin in Dongfang in early February, I passed through Changjiang but didn’t stop.I only get one day off each Sunday, so on my self-driving trips, I usually head straight for one destination in a single day.














赏花码头

这一次是专程去昌化江畔木棉赏花码头坐船观赏木棉花（自驾导航到木棉花赏花码头就行，里面设有停车场，停车场不大，旺季的时候很多车都停靠路边，再走下去码头），到码头坐船需要排队买船票，船票是50元每人，人数满一船就开一趟，在昌化江畔坐船游玩还可远望东方的俄贤岭（海南小桂林所在地）。


Flower Viewing Dock

This time, I went specially to the Kapok Flower Viewing Dock by the Changhua River to take a boat and admire the kapok flowers.(For self-driving trips, just navigate to Kapok Flower Viewing Dock; there is a parking lot, but it’s not big. During peak season, many cars park along the roadside, then you walk down to the dock.)
At the dock, you need to queue for boat tickets. The fare is 50 yuan per person, and the boat departs when full.While cruising on the Changhua River, you can also see Exianling in Dongfang in the distance, which is the location of Hainan’s Little Guilin.

王下乡，皇帝洞等地也不错，需要提醒的是乡路窄会车费劲，自驾前往须注意安全。

6.Dazhang Reservoir Kapok Scenery, Qicha Town (Navigation: Dazhang Reservoir)

Wangxia Township, Emperor Cave and other places are also nice.

A reminder: the rural roads are narrow and it is difficult to pass oncoming cars.

Please drive safely if you go there by car.








赏花码头有附近居民的各种小吃摊，相对还是比较丰富的。There are various snack stalls run by nearby residents at the flower-viewing dock, and the variety is quite good.

自驾游的“乐趣”还有偶遇一群群横行在马路上的牛羊群等，这就是途径乡野的快乐。
Another joy of a road trip is coming across flocks of cattle and sheep wandering across the road.That’s the happiness of traveling through the countryside.
